Cyber Seer I - The first part of a Cyberpunk/Biopunk series of short videos. 2 months of spare time was spent creating this 1 minute of CGI content.

The first part of the animation was a recreation from a dream I had. The prototype scene was created during the following evening. As the creation went so fast, I decided to extend the animation by fleshing out the storytelling aspect and introducing the Sephyr Warrior characters.

The entire project was made in Blender as I experimented with data-block management so that simulations, rendering and post processing could be generated and executed automatically when I wasn't working to keep high efficiency.

Sound was obtained from the freesound library. Sources of inspiration include Endless Space, Blade Runner, Destiny, Dark Souls, Dune, Halo and Bioshock.

The huge rings at the end was inspired by Victor Anceaume's "The Race" artwork.
